“Jetlag plus Vodka equals blackout,” Lambert tweeted. “Us plus blackout equals irrational confusion.”
What do “jail, guilty [and] press” equal? “Lesson learned,” he wrote. But Lambert’s run-in with the law was no laughing matter. “Violence is not to be taken lightly,” he wrote Thursday. “Embarrassed by drunkenness. No punches thrown, no injuries and no charges. Media always exaggerates.”

We all know that Adam is one to never hide his views when people are making anti-gay comments or bashing someone for who they are. A Presidential candidate is no exception to this, Adam took to Twitter to call out Michele Bachmann for her remarks made against gays in a video.
“yup girl, your views are too clear: you’re an extremely ignorant woman who just grins when she’s called out. No thanks,” he tweeted to his more than 1 million followers along with a link to a YouTube video of Bachmann’s Sunday appearance on Meet the Press.
You can view the video of Michelle and the rest of the article over at On Top Mag.

As said in the last update, Adam was honored at the 2011 Los Angeles Equality Awards this weekend and was presented with the “Equality Idol Award” for being an exemplary role model for LGBT youth. Below is his acceptance speech as well as images from the event.
“Over the past couple of years since American Idol I’ve recognized my responsibility as a gay man in the public eye. And that’s something that I’m really thankful for. As a teenager growing up when I was struggling with my own identity, I didn’t have anybody. I didn’t have anybody to really look up to…and to recognize the opportunity to be somebody that was comfortable being ‘a fuckin weird fag,’ hello, and I own that phrase. I am. I’m weird, I love it! I was that theater kid in high school that like playing dress up…and to have someone be like that in the public eye and to be proud of who they are, I realized that this was my chance to do that for other people. “
